Bloom Parks & Projects was founded by Dr. Amit Taggarse, inspired by his parents’ legacy of compassion and community service.
Our mission is simple: to nurture children and families through mentorship, value-based learning, and joyful experiences in nature. By combining outdoor adventures, creative programs, and wellness activities, we aim to build vibrant community spaces where kindness, growth, and curiosity flourish.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of Bloom. From helping at community events and maintaining the gardens, to assisting with mentorship programs, animal care, or children’s activities, every helping hand makes an impact. We never have too many volunteers and there’s always something fun to do!

As a nonprofit, Bloom relies on community support to keep programs free or affordable for all families. Every dollar supports local youth and families in Fort Smith and beyond. You can make a one-time gift or become a monthly donor to sustain year-round learning and adventure.
Partner
We welcome collaboration with businesses, schools, and community groups that share our passion for education and sustainability. Partnerships can include sponsoring events, leading workshops, or providing resources for our eco-learning hub, safety programs, or arts center.
